Christopher S. Dillion
As President of Campbell Coyle, Chris leads sustainable development and district-scale revitalization efforts, producing highly transformative real estate projects in a growing number of urban and micro-urban communities. His past work includes the development of over 2.75 million square feet of retail, residential and mixed-use real estate.
As a Managing Partner of Harper Court Partners, LLC, Chris developed one of the largest university-related redevelopments in the United States. The 600,000 square foot project has transformed Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood into a south side destination creating an estimated 1,320 new jobs. The project is among the most sustainable private sector developments in Chicago, securing a series of LEED certifications, including one platinum and three gold certifications.
Chris is a leader in green building, having developed, lectured and advocated on the sustainability movement. He is a past appointee to the State of Illinois LEED Task Force, where he advanced policy solutions aimed at creating funding mechanisms to foster large-scale sustainability initiatives in public schools.
He currently serves as Chair of the Illinois Green Alliance Board of Directors, a USGBC community promoting green buildings and sustainable communities. He is also an Advisor to the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG), empowering the communities located along 104 miles of heavily urbanized and industrialized Lake Michigan shoreline. The IISG combines research, education and outreach, utilizing science to address coastal challenges relating to sustainability, industry and economic development.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the College of Business at the University of Illinois, where he was also an Environmental Fellow. He is a past delegate to The Prince of Wales’s Business & the Environment Programme at the University of Cambridge.
